LUCE SIBILLA BALZARINI

I was born and raised in Italy, and through my professional and personal life, I travelled extensively.
I have lived in China, Australia, the UK, and the Netherlands, and have spent extended periods in Malawi, Liberia, India, the US, and Europe.

For 25 years, I worked in contemporary art, in a gallery and as the strategic partner to a world-renowned artist. I collaborated with prestigious galleries, museums, and institutions worldwide, and navigated the complexities of the contemporary art world.

Around-the-clock museum installations, last-minute collectors' commissions, damaged pieces, broken crates, logistics and paperwork, fair booths, opening dinners, gallery meltdowns, over-budget productions, the excitement, the stress, and all those things that can make these jobs fascinating and difficult, at the same time.
When I left my job, I decided I wanted to continue supporting growth, self-expression, and creativity, but in a different capacity.
I trained as an International Coaching Federation (ICF) coach to promote personal and professional development with the same energy and spirit I once contributed to transforming artistic vision into reality.
I became the professional figure I would have needed (but didn't know existed) when I realised my job was not making me happy anymore, and I now offer my support to the many art workers whose reality was once also mine.

I know firsthand how hard it is, when the balance/magic breaks, to fear you have fallen out of love with a job that you thought was aligned with your passions and interests. To feel that, behind the efficient exterior appearance, you are drowning in a cycle of exhaustion, identity confusion, and quite constant questioning of yourself:
"Is this it?"

We can work together so that you can find these answers and design a course of action to get your career moving in the right direction again.
